Looking at the stars.

Going outside at night and looking up at the stars in the night sky is something I like to do. I went out and looked up at the night sky for a little while tonight. I did not stay out there very long tonight because I started hearing a few coyotes in the distance. I don't like to be outside when I hear coyotes.
One of these days; I would like to get a book about the different constellations. I would like to know what I am looking for.

I can still spend an hour or two at one time looking up at the stars.

Yes a book would be very helpful.
What I know of the stars in the sky, I had learned from my Father as a child.
He was a Merchant Seaman and he saw a lot of the skies at night out on the ships.

Sometimes; I need to take time away from everything and enjoy stuff like this. It helps me to relax some.

Uhm... if you have a way to read it, you can get a free ebook that shows the different constellations from Gutenberg Press...

I have Native American ancestry and love being outside listening to the coyotes at night.
When I walked to the store tonight, I looked toward the sky, but it was blackened with clouds. When it isn't, the stars are always visible. This is a rural village.

I live around 6 miles away from the closest town. When there are no clouds; I can see a lot of stars.

@Scrapper88 My nest friend lives on a farm that far out, and so do my second cousins, so I get to enjoy that a lot, too.

I do not blame you staying outside at night when coyotes are howling either..
