If any, are your company good to you at Christmas or are they Scrooge?

My job doesn't have bonuses, but we get "spiff's" for doing extra well. (Gift cards to places like Wal-Mart or the movies.) I work for a relatively small company as well, and we have a Christmas Party. Each person is responsible for getting someone a gift (we draw names) and there is a $20 cap for base employees (four of us), and they won't tell us the cap for the salary employees and two owners. (I'm guessing they never will either.) The Christmas party is at a nice restaraunt as well so we get free dinner with good food. I think it's a good deal.

I guess since I do not work outside of home, my bonus would be that my children get all that time off from school! I can sleep in...if my body will let me. I do not have to get a grouchy 16 yr old up...that IS a bonus! And no homework or spelling tests to study for!!! When 3 little ones have speeling they have to study everyday, it gets pretty tiring.

I've never worked at a company that gave Christmas bonuses. The only close "bonus" was a box of oranges that the boss bought for each employee because it was a fundraiser for his kid. I didn't even eat oranges.
Now that I have my own company, I don't get a Christmas bonus either. But at least I don't have to eat those damn oranges!!

My job doesn't give a Christmas bonus. My boss gives us a party at his house and feeds us lunch. We have a gift exchange. But we are a small office. There are a total of 14 of us, including the Doctor, his wife and his daughter.
On the other hand, my husband's job gives him a weeks worth of pay as a bonus. (Which he received today!!)
