Does Facebook cause depression?

I read so many stories on Facebook about people who die. There are a lot of young people dying. Facebook became so depressing. I am thinking to take a break and deactivate my account again. I read about a woman with depression. She was my age. She was found dead in her home. I have depression too. Another thing makes me feel depressed. There was a stray cat outside, we fed her. She was pregnant and after a few days, she disappeared. I think she can be dead. We couldn't spay her because she has to be kept indoors after surgery.

Is it Facebook causing the depression or is there something else. Before you can find a solution you have to know the cause. Talk to someone reasonable who you can talk to about your deprssion

Take a breather if you find FB depressing, Only you can make yourself less depressed. However, you can reach out to friends and family too and just voice out your feelings/emotions, You may just be needing a sympathetic ear. There are many things to be thankful for, the fact that you are healthy and that you can exercise all your faculties is enough reason to be happy. Many people wish for these things that you have but, unluckily, they cannot have them, but still, they kept on having hope.

I don't have friends and my family doesn't understand me. I don't have health. I can't buy anything for myself. I am stuck inside my house. I don't want to mention my problems here, but I am not healthy at all. I can't even eat.

That's better to find a social circle that she can confide her fears and feelings

Life is filled with depression or things that can trigger depression most people that have a lot of it are diagnosed with depression. Facebook itself doesn't cause depression your content, the life you live, or even the things you see in your daily life can be depressing. Why do you think I don't watch the news? because it's depressing and they do so to cause a reaction to make you feel sad or sad for someone else. We humans are very familiar with guilt and empathy, which makes it easier for us to connect to others. If you are constantly depressed Id say you probably need a doctor and need medication. My husband's depression it comes in waves, but he is also bipolar but certain times of the year he gets what is called a blue period or a seasonal depression. Holidays make him sad; his birthday makes him sad.

I don't think using facebook is depressing. it is really up to a person how he / she uses facebook. Unless a person have a problem not related to facebook?

In my opinion, if you are currently experiencing depression, please, Pray to God. Or you can share the cause of your depression with your parents, your spouse, your best friends or your trusted psychological consultation. They will be give you right solution. Please, don't share your depression to your social media, Many people either don't care about your problems. And maybe they will give you wrong way out / wrong solution.

I only posted here. On Facebook I don't post anything. Unfortunately I don't have friends. I am trying therapy, but therapists can't give me the right solution. There is no solution.
