Short and interrupted night

I am a comfort to him as he was my sister's cat, and he misses her. He is warm and hugely cuddly.

@GardenGerty I am so happy that you are there for him.

@JudyEv Soometimes he takes the entire space lengthwise between Bob and I.

He did share better last night.

@GardenGerty That's good to hear. I wonder if he grumbles to himself about you taking up too much room?

@AmbiePam My sister had many of the issues of the elderly, especially the elderly who have smoked all their lives. She was losing her vision to macular degeneration--it can run in families, and she is third generation with it, but smoking causes that. What ultimately killed her was the plaque forming in all her arteries, so bits and pieces were dying. We did not expect this though. We will be having her memorial in Guthrie May 22. Her daughters wanted to wait for spring.

@GardenGerty First of all, I am so sorry about your sister. I did not know, but I wish I did. I knew you had always had cats, but had never heard Bruno's name. I'm glad you have him.

@GardenGerty Bless your heart. I hope you can get it through it without tiring out too much physically. Because you already know it will be hard emotionally.

I just have to get there first. Sometimes he cuddles between Bob and I.

He is a big boy and he misses my sister, who had him maybe two years. She spoiled him.

@sallypup I have not tried to weigh Bruno, but I am sure he is still over 20, without steroids.

@GardenGerty Cats are meant to be spoiled. My Fred cat is on steroids so he must weigh around 20 pounds. Beau Teak isn't far behind.

Yep, they like to be cozy, and look after us in their way.

No, he does not share, he hogs it all.

That is what he tells me.

It has gotten better. Maybe he was worried since I was sick.
