Take that literally. Okay, our weather bureau told us to brace ourselves for warner days in the coming months as El NiƱo is likely to begin in the second half of the year. It further said that the warmer days could be until 2024. Get those electric fan/air coolers/air conditioners ready! I can only imagine how hot it would be when everyone I meet almost always complain of the weather. So I got myself a question, how do you prepare for warmer days? Help! ...i am perspiring too much it is making me yawn! photo by the way is my screenshot.

@Yadah04 - Springtime is when flowers start to bloom, summer is the hot days, autumn the harvesting of grapes, pumpkins, the leaves that turn orange and red, winter the cold and the snow.

I always wondered about having four seasons. I only know wet and dry season in our place. Springtime is when flowers bloom right?

That's good. But you know what, it is summer here but we are experiencing summer rain every afternoon. And the heat of the ground makes it even warmer.

We've already got 40 degrees Celsius here, but had a little respite with some rain over the weekend. May will be even hotter.

I wish that would happen here. But rains in our place happen in the afternoon. So all the heat of the ground dissipates. Result, humid air.

We are in Ireland and it's only 8C which we find quite cold. Next week, we'll be back in warmer temperatures.

Oh goodness, my apartment complex just fixed my air conditioner! I felt like I was burning up for 10 out of the 17 days it was broken. Today, I turned on my air conditioner, and ran around with a cold wash cloth around my neck! Not very efficient, but I made do with what I had.

Check that the air-conditioning unit is working well and could do so 24/7.

If I am not thinking about the electricity bills, I would really love to do that, aircon turned on 24/7.

I can understand your situation. Fans and ACs gain a big importance and even more if there is high humidity.

That is true. If only I could keep the ac running 24/7, but I am anxious of the electric bill.

It's hot so our aircon is open in the afternoon and in the evening. I want to have a wet summer. Today we don't use aircon since it is quite cloudy outside and there is drizzle in the morning

I didn't check today weather forecast, so I wore too many layers to work! I will have to peel off one layer after another soon.

You are layering and here we are wearing the thinnest clothing we could find to beat this heat. Good timing we are a stone throw away from the beach.
