Reading a Fairly Good Book

This author has written various different murder mysteries that I've enjoyed reading. Laura Childs writes a series called the Cackleberry Club Mysteries.
These stories are about Suzanne Dietz and her close friends. Some of them work at a popular cafe/tea shop that Suzanne opened a couple years ago and she helps run.
Egg Shooter is an exciting story and I'm almost finished with this book. They also include different, easy recipes on the last ten pages. Some of them are excellent!
Anyway, I highly recommend any book that's written by Laura Childs, she's a very gifted author.

Thank you for the review. I will check out her books online, I am presently rereading the series of Bones books written by Kathy Reichs. They are interesting and exciting books and the TV series Bones was based on them,

@kobesbuddy that is odd I have very rarely found mistakes in books. Should have been better edited. When I was editing my books of poems before publishing I was quite worried but I think they came out all right except perhaps for one or two misspelled words which I only discovered after the work was done. I am now considering writing something up again to promote my books which I did already but now the time has passed again and there they are on Amazon but who knows about this?

@RasmaSandra I've heard of different people who published books through Amazon. None of them are making much money, it seems.

She's a good author. Except who ever typed up these books, made a lot of typographical errors, misspelled words, a wrong word in a sentence. I wonder why.

@kobesbuddy Same as you, I love murder/mysteries but not if they are too gore.

Murder/mysteries are my favorite type of book. As long as they don't get real graphic or go into too much detail about blood and gore. Then, I can't read it!

That book sounds good. I put that one on my list. Right now I'm still reading King of Fools by Amanda Foody.

Many books I read have either a coffee shop or a restaurant in the story line. Recipes are included:)

I sometimes make the easy meals, just for a change of menu.

Laura Childs writes other series, too. This is the only one that I've seen at our library, probably about ten books in all.

Some of these authors, their story-line is quite similar to their other books. I still enjoy reading her stories, though!
