The collage shows photos I took at Downpatrick. I’ve done separate posts on the sea stack, the blowhole and the WWII relics.
Here, upper left, you can see the lovely little white flowers that were very prolific in the area. Upper right shows some of the dozens of birds that were resting on the ledges of the cliffs. Some looked to be playing in the wind, letting the wind lift them wherever it wanted and not bothering to flap their wings at all.
Lower right is a general view of the cliffs and lower left is a stylised statue of St Patrick (that guy went everywhere!). There are the remains of the foundations of a very ancient church and it was once a place of pilgrimage.

@JudyEv at least you were able to make the trip now and got to see your son. Guess it will be up to him to visit you in the future

@Marilynda1225 We've talked about it with him. If he can't afford the fare, then we're happy to pay it.

Looks like Ireland has a lot of places to explore.
Geographical structures, Sea shores, Rock formations, Ancient places of significance.
Plus the places seem to be a good opportunity for some nice pictures for you and Vince !
