A slightly frustrating day for me on this Monday. How was yours?

I actually had a fairly productive Monday. But I never quite hit my stride. How has your Monday been?
I will tell you my story in short almost-bullets.
I did some work on my 1914 Gibson A-4 mandolin today. I changed four of its eight strings and installed a small piece of walnut wood above the bridge saddle to raise the action on the D-strings. But the new strings took their time about hold their tuning and left me uttering oaths rather than playing away with joy.
I spoke with one of the fellas in Montana about the land I'm trying to unload (sell) up there. We reached a tentative agreement about a selling price, but I still have to deal with my difficult brother, who may be more concerned with how much we can make than with keeping the land in the hands of people who will not lease it to Big Gold. He is a mean guy and not governed by the same principles that I am.
I got one pair of coasters done (see photo), and have another almost done. No issues there.
I was hoping to get an hour or two in at my flaky friend's Day Care, but she said she had only a couple of kids today. No Harper stories from today.
I haven't heard from my friends who were "getting stoned and jamming with Willie Nelson." I just want to know that they're OK and made it back safely.
How has your Monday been?

Five hours of my Monday were spent getting a chemo treatment. That was relatively peaceful, but now the fun begins. I'm nauseous, hot one minute and cold the next. We went to a Chinese buffet afterwards and I ate fast while food still tasted good, lol. By the time we got home, everything tasted nasty.
I discovered that like last time, the only thing I can eat or drink has to be frozen. More frozen rice krispy squares again, I guess. Your Monday was better than mine.

@TheHorse Yeah, Chinese food, but the nausea was much later. I just don't know how I'm going to survive on frozen things. I guess I can try really cold smoothies of Ensure.

It was great until I saw that Gordon Lightfoot passed away.

@TheHorse — there’ll be a 30th chime of the bell this November 10th. Twenty nine times for each man on the Edmund Fitzgerald and one for the man who immortalized them.

@FourWalls Maybe I'll listen to that tune. Right now I have Song for a Winters Night going through my head.

@TheHorse And now it's Wednesday at 7 am. I've been on the computer since 4:30. I should be done here in about another 45 minutes or so.

My Monday was "off" but is better this evening. I fell with a cup of hot tea in my hand and saved the cup, dinged my knees. Most of the students in our "structured program" are not totally continent. Some are more incontinent than others. Our day was full of poop today.
