Once again I was gone for awhile

My life is crazy like so many other people here. One month I can have nothing to do and the next month I don't have time to sit still for any time for myself.
For some reason, which I still do not understand, my husband decided to agree with me and get a kitten. I have wanted one for years as it has been a long time since I had one. I have always been a pet person but gave up trying to convince him to get one.
As it turns out, we finally got one that we adopted from the humane society. The family that had her decided they didn't couldn't keep her any longer. We have had her now for almost a month and are enjoying her so much. She is a siamese and is very young. We have been having so much fun with her. She has a tail that is only less than an inch long. She is very energetic and keeps me going.
I have wanted another cat for a long time but my husband didn't want one so I dropped the idea. I am so happy we have her and it is a lot of fun here as we also have a cockateil which we have had for a few years. He is about 10 I think. He was my grandsons but he went away to college and never went back home again. I have been loving every minute with of all the animals I have brought home for many years.

That's great that you now have a rescue kitten to take care of. I'm sure it will bring you lots of pleasure.

It's good to see you again. How are things in FL? I'm glad you got yourself a kitten. We miss having dogs around our house. I've always wanted a bird. Maybe you can post a picture of yours? Have a great day and an even better week.
