The Magnificent Seven - 2016 release..

I recently watched The Magnificent Seven which I thought was a fairly decent movie. I wouldn’t say I am a fan of western movies, but I am a fan of action movies. They claim it to be an Action, adventure, drama?
I watched the 2016 version of the movie, starring Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, and Ethan Hawk. This is a remake of the 1960’s movie of the same name. The idea of the movie is that an industrialist Bartholomew Bogue controls the town of Rose Creek and the townsfolk set out to hire protection in the form of outlaws.
The movie is rated PG-13 for extended and intense sequences of Western violence, some language and suggestive material. Pretty standard for a western movie as of course there is going to be shooting.
Overall, not a bad movie even though there are some mistakes you will see in the movie and maybe it’s just me, but Chris Pratt’s acting is not very good in any thing I have seen him in. Maybe I just don’t like him or the characters he plays.

If it's an action movie, my husband would love it. And I don't mind one either as long as it's entertaining. I like movies from all places as long as they are entertaining.
