Its the month of May already

I had a busy day today. Three grandkids were at home spending the day with me without their parents. The eldest was already here for more than a week and the other two came today. All three kept me on my toes and I am ready to drop dead just now. The younger two have gone now and they are already planning their next stay with me. I think next time I should plan a burger or pizza party for them so that I don't spend the whole day in the kitchen. How has the month started for you? Hope everyone has a lovely day ahead and a wonderful month of May. Any fun plans for this month?

Kids can really wear you out especially if you're not used to dealing them for extended periods.

During lockdown I never encouraged the kids to travel to my city as they lived in another place then. When my kids were small my Mom lived with me and she looked after the kids. My husband was also at home for some years and I was working so looking after the home and the kids was never my forte.

@mayka123 I do understand. When I was young and we lived on a farm, I was always involved in the outside work and didn't learn much in the way of cooking although I did help with the housework.

I always loved spending time with my grandparents. I made an effort not to be a lot of trouble, and I really hope I succeeded. Your grandkids obviously had a great time too.

I had never got to interact much with my grand parents as they lived in another state. My eldest grandson is staying with me now for a couple of months and he is having a great time here.

Its vacation time for schools here so most families go out on holidays at this time. Especially those who have school going kids.

May has started very well for me. I feel i would be more productive this month and also i came back to mylot after talking a long break..i feel excited
