Have you ever created a GoFundMe?

So with me working from home full time due to suffering from fibromyalgia and also acute migraines and depression and anxiety, I rely solely on the income I make from home. Unfortunately, my laptop of 9 years is now giving up on me and my PC of 5 years is now getting quite old as well and keep restarting on me randomly making it difficult to work without worry of me losing something I hadn't saved yet. Have you ever used a GoFundMe to get help for something you needed? How did you find it went and do you have any tips to increase your chances of getting donations and people wanting to help?
