Thanks to the teamwork of the Upper Providence Township and Emergency Services worked together by wearing protective gear to retrieve a deer who was stuck in the Schuylkill Canal this weekend.
The exact day was not mentioned when the rescue took place. The deer was pulled out of the canal by the firefighters so then covered the deer who was shivering from the cold water so he could warm up before the deer was released into the woods area safe and sound.

I am sure that the canal was very cold when the deer was rescued by the first responders.
