I don't like salads. When I was growing up salads were called "rabbit food" and very few people ate them. I do eat a lot of fruit during the Summer and will pick and eat spinach leaves as it grows on the front porch. I also like picking and eating tomatoes right off the vine. I also like raw bell peppers right off the plant.

@mayka123 Tomatoes are the best when they're still hot from the sun. YUM! I grew up on a farm and we grew all our own veggies. I don't have room for a big garden but I still enjoy growing some things myself.

I love salads, al kinds. I usually make them at home and whenever I go to the restaurant. I never get tired of eating salads.

@mayka123 My favorite is the potato salad. It is mixed with diced carrots, diced cheese, and pineapple chunks then add mayo with squeezed lemon. I make simple salads, not gourmet. I love Waldorf Salad simply made with diced apples, raisins, nuts (any kind), and lettuce added with mayo and pepper. I love all sorts of salads. I usually experiment them or watch them on youtube.

@jeanbug23 I am not too fond of carrots and very rarely buy them. Have not tried salad with apples and raisins and nuts. Should try it out.

I would love a salad but at this time cannot afford it. Usually I like to put bacon bits and sunflower seeds and blue cheese dressing.
