We have had rain all day long today. I haven’t ventured outside today due to the weather. Yesterday was sunny but cold. While I was out walking I saw wild honeysuckles blooming along the nature trail. I got a good picture but I don’t know if it will submit. I hope all my Mylot friends had a beautiful sunny day.

Wild honeysuckle is blooming at the back of our yard, too. We were supposed to have a cloudy but dry day according to the predictions but it rained off and on all day. *sigh*

@RubyHawk The forecasts are bad for our area. The forecast is actually for a city almost 50 miles away from us.
The photo looks good.

I have seen those before. I did not know they were honeysuckle. Do they have a fragrance?

@changjiangzhibin89 Maybe we should drink honeysuckle tea. Do they use leaves or the flowers?

@JimBo452020 Honeysuckles will attract bees. If you want bees that’s the plant for you.

I do love the honeysuckle smell and they are very pretty. But having lived out in the country a few times, I can say they are also very invasive! Blink, and they cover an entire fence or pole or climb a chimney!

@MarieCoyle And that's just about the truth. Kudzu will cover anything and kill it.

Kudzu is beyond terrible. The standard joke being, don't park your car too close to it, because in the morning your car will be covered in Kudzu!
