Making notepads at home

Am teaching my grandson to make notepads at home. Had a lot of printouts from the days I had a full-time job and documents would be sent to me during the pandemic which was of no use later. Today am teaching him to make one-size note pads to use for making daily notes at home. Once he learns this I am planning to teach him to make notebooks.
I remember when we were in school we would give all the blank pages to the binder and get new notebooks made out of them.
Did you reuse your old notebooks in school?

Yes we used to have such exercises in school it was fun and everybody would be proud of work!

Yes. I reuse my old notebooks. My mom buys the one with spirals, so we can easily reuse those blank pages. It saves us a lot of money
