Froggy Has Returned

About a year ago after some heavy rainfall, I went out on my front porch, and being on the second floor I could see all the rainbow-colored raindrops on the palm branches and leaves. Something caught my eye and I looked down into an empty flowerpot that had been filled with water. Inside was a tree frog desperately trying to get out. Being an ardent fan of animals, I had no problem reaching in and grabbing ahold of the frog. The fellow looked at me, croaked, and quickly jumped onto a palm leaf. He was kind enough to stay there until I got a photo of him. Well, for some days now we have had more heavy rains and today I saw that my froggy friend had returned. I am not sure if it is the same one but he did look at me and blink his eyes and since he was not afraid of me perhaps he remembered his rescuer.

@CarolDM until I met my friend I did not even know tree frogs were white I had only seen green ones

@LindaOHio thanks we all made it through Monday and it was funny but the cats slept more than usual and acted as if they had had a rough weekend and they did the usual eat, sleep, and meow for attentions

@peachpurple I didn't even think of that and it was only that one time when the frog was in the flowerpot. Now I did not touch him,

I wonder if it was the same one.
When I was a small child there was a huge tree across the street that I loved to climb up in. One evening I went to the tree and it had several tree frogs hopping around. Too cute!
