Chocolate Heaven / myLot

Yesterday I received my monthly groceries. Like @marguicha I am fond of chocolate. I got six Berliners which are like doughnuts without holes, filled with Bavarian cream and thick chocolate frosting on top. I also bought ice cream sandwiches. As you can see by the photo I gave myself a real treat. I cut up a Berliner and an ice cream sandwich and had a plateful of chocolate heaven. I wonder if I could eat this every day would I get tired of it?

@AmberPam I have a big writer's imagination so I was thinking about a great big box of chocolates getting sent around to everyone on myLot. The first person who receives it takes a piece of chocolate and puts in a note as a message and then sends the box onto the next member and so on

My daughter LOVES chocolate... I like it... She just took away the chocolate candy I bought two weeks ago because I hadn't even opened the bag yet... *sigh* She does that to me all the time!

@CarolDM the chocolate on the Berliners is not dark chocolate but darker than just milk. When I do have dark chocolate I like with sea salt,

@RasmaSandra That sounds really good. The sea salt gives it a great taste too. Caramel is good with sea salt.

Berliners make me think of my youth. I saved one bus trip by walking and bought a Berliner maybe once a week with my savings.

@marguicha my mom learned to make Bavarian cream from a friend and I remember how delicious it was without any pastry. I should have learned from her how to make it,
