I will start out. I am only talking about here in Israel. I have had jobs I did not care for but I would say the least favorite is being a secretary and two jobs I really liked were working in a Thrift Shop and Bookstore and also being my own boss. I sold at a place or around 11 years and there were challenges. The management and upper people were not nice but there were people that loved seeing me when they came in the building. I found things in the Thrift Shop that I have been looking for a long time that I could not find anywhere else. I loved the bookstore because I felt a part of something there and my boss was a decent guy. I would like to hear from you if you want to share what your least favorite job or jobs would be and your favorite one or ones. Please share here if you only want to.

I dislike jobs that require you to exert a lot of pressure. But I like challenging jobs.

@Jenaisle I know what you mean by trying to sell things to people. Is that correct?

@Jenaisle I hated it too because it turned me into someone I was not. I was good at it.

The only job I didn't like much was doing the books in a mechanical workshop place. I didn't really have the skills for the job but got talked into taking it.

@JudyEv That is the worst when someone talks you into taking a job you do not like. That can be hard to get up to go to work.

Least favorite..working the line in a steak house supplying the cold food for the cafeteria line. I think I quit after one or two weekends. I worked on Friday nights, and it was super busy and exhausting. You never had a moment to breathe. Sis kept that job for several months though..It was a customer of my dad's and he got both of us jobs there. However, he found me another one that was a bit more tolerable. Favorite, working for the Association of the Blind, and being able to travel the county hanging out with my clients. It was fun.

@Hannihar No, he didn't get me the Association of the Blind job. You asked about a favorite job.

@snowy22315 I do not blame you. It sounds like a horrible job. I bet the new job he got you was so much better than the first one and it sounds very rewarding.

@snowy22315 I am sorry that I misunderstood you on the blind job. I was mistaken. I am glad you had a job you liked.

I really cannot say I had a least favorite job as they all paid me Hanni, and that is what I was after was money.

I liked my job, but I disliked scanning and filing documents. I like translating documents.

@LadyDuck What languages did you translate them into? Filing can be very tiresome.

I did not like working in my college library because my boss was extremely hard to get along with. My most rewarding job was being the secretary at a children's mental health hospital. It could be sad, but it was also rewarding.

@AmbiePam I had a boss that was very hard to please and get along with. I am not sure if he was a Survivor of the Holocaust but he used to put the other secretary and myself down in front of people. I bet it was rewarding but hard too.

@peachpurple Congrats on being 50 something and still enjoying a job. I would not like internal problems and back stabbing. That must have been hard to go to work with all that going on. I am glad you found a job you love and it sounds like you work very hard. So, when you get home do you just want to go to sleep and not do anything else?
