What do you think of Russia-Ukraine War?

I only need your OWN opinion, and if others have different opinions with you, don't argue with them. You can have a discussion, but at least please respect each other. Let me have a tell about my opinion. I don't stand with any country, but I hate wars. It causes death. A number of people will die. A number of families will break. A number of people will lose happiness. Nobody can stand these, wherever he (she) is from. It seems like Ukraine is the last protection of Russia. Now Ukraine would like to join EU, and it caused the fear of Russia. Russia wanted to give some punishment to Ukraine, but the US and other Euporean countries come to help Ukraine, so the war have been until now. It doesn't mean Russia is right for sure; it doesn't mean the US and other European countries is wrong for sure, too. It's only the fact. All the things we can do, is waiting for the result.

I agree, everything started because Ukraine asked to join NATO and the EU and this is unacceptable for Russia. I do not care who is wrong and who is right, but instead of pushing for war, all nations should have tried to make them discuss.

Yes, that's right. We have so many different ways to avoid the war, everybody knows this, why don't they do? It's joking, but also sad.

@Aminoac Instead of calming down the two parts it seems we pushed them to fight.

@LadyDuck Ahh... That's true. I'm happy that China didn't take part in this mess, but the other countries... Anyway, it's none of our business. The world is spoiled, and I prefer that we should try our best to make less mess for the country.

I would think that in these modern times leaders could sit down together and discuss their differences and fears and work out reasonable solutions without having to resort to war.

My husband, son and I had travelled to Russia twice and we had a great experience there. I like Russians very much because they are really quite friendly to us. This is why I don't like to see what's happening today because both Russians and Ukrainians are suffering. However, I think it is a fact that Russia invades Ukraine and it can bring up any kinds of reasons. Crimea is already an example. It is not enough and Russia still wants more lands. I don't blame other nations that help Ukraine. If there is a nation to blame, then it is Russia. Just hope Ukraine will have the victory soon and the war can be over.

I completely agree with your opinion about war. It is a tragic event that causes immense suffering and loss. Regardless of our nationality or political beliefs, it is important to recognize that war is a destructive force that affects everyone involved. It is understandable to have differing opinions about the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, but we should all strive to approach discussions with respect and understanding. It is important to remember that behind every war, there are real people and families who are impacted in profound ways. Instead of arguing or fighting, we should work towards peaceful solutions that prioritize the well-being and safety of all individuals involved.
