My knowledge of black bears is that they are very shy being around humans and they do not like noise.
A black bear who must have walked away from his home in the forest near Altamonte Springs Florida to a wooded on Monday near a street when the young black bear climbed a tree and he stood there since due to the crowds that watched the bear, the bear could not leave the area.
Officials of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission (FWC) decided to leave the bear alone since the bear was not going to harm anyone in the area.
The FWC officials were hoping that the bear would walk away on his own when the eyewitnesses left the area.
The bear did walk away on his own on Tuesday overnight into the woods unharmed.
The reason that bears go into populated areas is because the forest where their home are being taken away in the name of progress.

I am in agreement since bears are sensitive as well as humans.

I hope the bear stays away from there because as far as I know, one cannot predict behavior of a hungry wild animal.

A bear seeing food will get their anger up if a person rejects their offer to eat in peace.

I am in agreement with you that the crowds left the bear alone so that the bear could leave the area and go into the woods in peace.

That is true since wildlife officials in Florida are forbidden to harm animals.
