What Kind of Tree is This?

As you already knew, we are living in a rental house at this time. The spring flowers are coming up and this pretty tree bloomed in our side yard.
If anyone knows what kind of tree this is, please let me know. It is so beautiful! Those pink blossoms are starting to fall off. By next week, they will probably be all gone.
I love flowers and flowering trees, but I don't know the names of very many. Thanks, for helping me with this:)

These people who own this house, they had these trees put in. I'm not sure who's idea it was, probably his wife. @just4him

I know maple, evergreen, weeping willow, cedar, pine and oak trees. Any other tree, I don't know.

I would have said magnolia too. They grow really well in Melbourne where one son lives.
