I just sneaked in a short cycle! Did you get some exercise today?

After my hike with my friend today, I wanted to cycle. But I bought some wine on the way home and got my Stereophile magazine in the mail. Zombie time on my bed! After reading about modern loudspeakers I would have no reason to buy, I jumped up, grabbed my bike, and took a short cycle. I am smoking a celebratory cigarette right now and contemplating what to snack on before bed. I thought of getting some Thai soup for dinner, but don't really feel that hungry. Did you get your daily done of exercise today?

I walked on the wet porch a few time and then between my bedroom and the kitchen a lot... With the heat and the rain, we didn't go walking today. I fixed chicken nuggets and French fries for supper tonight. (I eat mine with a mixture of ketchup and mayo. YUM!)

@TheHorse I don't think anyone would say anything against jean cutoffs. I haven't owned any for twenty or thirty years. I buy jean shorts. (Except the legs on jean shorts keep getting longer and longer. I stopped buying new ones when the length went past my knee. Those are too long for comfort, in my opinion. I'm lucky my old ones still fit me.)

@TheHorse Are they above the knee? If not, I wouldn't wear them, either.

What is a stereophile magazine about? Fixing up old stereos? Do you only smoke occasionally? The baby and I found two geocaches so that was about a half mile walk. At the zoo we went on a mile walk the trail said.

@TheHorse huh well that’s cool you enjoy it. My husband likes to look at things he can’t afford but dreams about. Not me.

The zoo! That sounds like fun! Stereophile is a magazine for audio geeks like me. They mostly review modern stereo gear that mere mortals like me could not afford. Actually I could afford the stuff I read about , but it would require dipping into my retirement savings. Do I really need $30,000 speakers? No. The magazine also reviews music, etc. It's fun for me to read. Lot's of stereo "eye candy."

@shaggin Many guys do it with cars. I never was a car guy because I grew up in the city.

If it doesn't rain, usually I will ride a sharing bike to the office and then home. If it rains, then I will have a walk and it will spend about half an hour. I regard it as my daily exercise.

@TheHorse There are many sharing bikes in the city. And when I need it, I turn on my phone and use the sharing bike app to scan the code from the bike and then it will open. After I finish my journey, then I park it in the road side and use the app to lock the bike and that's it.

I go on biking for 15 minutes a day, I guess that's how long or short I could go bike riding. Only for exercise. I also go for a walk for 20 minutes every day. I also do HIIT which I follow on YouTube every day. These little exercises make my body light and I feel energized,

@JudyEv It's still good to get out. When I cycle from here, it's mostly through neighborhoods (back yards, as it's a bike path). But it's still "refreshing."

@TheHorse Not really. There is parkland and some bush. The park has paths through it and occasionally you might see a kangaroo in the adjacent bush. Otherwise, it's just streets and houses. I could drive somewhere nicer I guess.

Hi there! It's great to hear that you enjoyed your hike and bike ride today. Exercise is really important for our overall health and well-being. I make it a priority to exercise regularly as well, whether it's going for a run, hitting the gym, or doing yoga.

I like to cycle in lieu of running, as my knees are old and tired.

Yes I went for my two half hour walks. And walked all over Walmart while we were there.

Yesterday I stayed at home. Today we went out and we walked a little more than 5,000 steps. We had to shorten our walk because the sky is menacing.

@TheHorse It is raining right now, a heavy rain and I cannot understand from where it comes because the sun is shining.

The wind was something else yesterday. Did it ever rain there? 5,000 steps isn't bad. I am learning about this steps thing.

Oh, yes! I walked in the middle of the forest for 15 minutes going to Eltz castle. Then I climbed until the top together with the tour guide explaining about the history of the castle and many things inside it.

Not yet, just a bit of pottering about in the garden so far and more to do later. Not sure that bending and stretching to hang out the washing counts?
