Another of my favorite "sculptures" from our hike the other day.

Are they even called "sculptures"? Heck, I dunno. But I always enjoy the artistic offerings available when we go to the Albany Bulb, just North of Berkeley CA.
This pirate ship has been there since I've been going to the Albany Bulb, so-called because it's a small peninsula shaped like a light bulb. I think the wheelbarrow is new, but I could be wrong.
Our brick tower, from a months ago hike, was long gone, probably washed away by the tide. I made a couple of smaller rock structures on this hike but am too embarrassed to post pictures of them.
You can see the pervasive wildflowers in this post, as well as in one of my previous posts. It turns out they are NOT native, but were brought to the US from the Mediterranean. Did I actually spell that right?
In any case, I hope you enjoy our hike. It was "hecka" cold out there, with the wind blowing in from the Ocean at 30 mph. Conversation was difficult (not an entirely bad thing, as this friend tends to be talkative).

@TheHorse I'm sorry. This photo is just terrible. Kids can get in the top of the whale head, and look out the top of the little hat. If you can SEE the little hat. It's not amazing at all, but for some reason people from all over come see it.
It's bigger in person, but not a world winning sculpture.

@Deepizzaguy My favorite novel (well, one of them), A High Wind in Jamaica, is about kids "captured" by pirates.

It appears the area is good for exploring, walking, and sightseeing. Those wild flowers are beautiful.
The strong wind saved you from a bad experience.
You could post pictures, big or small rock structures, it does not matter, as long as you're happy,

Poor Rob... Sometimes we just need somebody to talk with, pony... Have some compassion for the guy.
Be embarrassed all you want but I want to see the T-Rex.

I guess those are Indian paintbrush flowers in the picture. . This sculpture ( I would call it that ) looks unique. I need to look it close to appreciate it well. But a glance is definitely something that attracts you.
It's either hot here or raining. We could not go for any long hiking, trekking or cycling in May. We had them very much in March and April.

@TheHorse It has stopped in the last one week. No signs of rain here. That's very unusual for Bengaluru. And also the rise in mercury this year is also unusual . Bangalore is well known for rain and pleasant weather throughout the year. But this time we are having some really hot days in the last one week.. We hope to get some rain soon.
Oh! They are different. I assumed them to be Indian paintbrush flowers.

I will attach a song I am working on with Burl Jam. I hope you enjoy it. It's very "American" to me. Talkers sometimes have a hard time listening because they are already planning what to say next. The song is called "Your Mind is On Vacation and Your Mouth is Working Overtime." It's pretty funny.

Lovely flowers. I'm glad you had a good, albeit freezing, hike. The pirate ship is interesting.

That looks interesting I like it and very creative, Makes me think of one of those hillbilly booze makers in the hills, I wish there was a cooling wind here we are sizzling in Florida.

I'm an artist, and I love everything related to art, here in Brazil there's a lot of art, but it's not very valued.
I lived in Australia and in this country I made crafts, artistic recycling and acrylic canvases. but there is an art that I really like and that is pyrography. an ancient art with the use of fire.
I taught when I lived in Australia and I really miss not being able to do that in Brazil.
but the photo you posted is very beautiful and should post others.
thanks
