You will see this every day when commuters get into crowded trains to reach their destination mostly their offices.
This is because the office timings are same for most commuters and they have no other go. As you can see in the image they are overflowing covering every inch of space that is available to put their foot in.
Accidents? Surely there are accidents specially while trying to get in and get out One is just pushed out or pushed in and there are times when the train starts moving while the activity of pushing in or pushing out is still on.
Is it the same in your country?

No, we would not be allowed to be on the top of our trains or buses like that. A couple of people have tried to ride on top of the train recently, and have fallen off, and were killed. If a conductor of a train or a driver of a bus tried to go about their job with overflowing riders like in your picture, they could get arrested or suspended or fired from their jobs.

@allknowing Is it just that they are overwhelmed by so many people, and don't have enough law officers to enforce it?

That is how it should be and so I wonder why that is not the case here.

It's sad, it's very dangerous. How could the government there allow this to happen? As for my country, trains are very crowded inside, but you are not allowed to ride outside like the photo above. All passengers must be on the train, even though it is very crowded.

@allknowing I hope that it will be followed up soon. Maybe the current government there has not been able to provide the best solution.

Crowded but not to such an extent. People won't be allowed to stand on top of the train. It's dangerous.

When we come to the matters dealing with the transportation especially the trains, the situation is very similar in my country to yours. Many commuters like the train transportation due to the effectiveness on the fares.

That is just crazy but I guess necessary. I'd rather not go to work then. Here you have to be in the train or not at all,

Overcrowded trains can indeed lead to accidents or discomfort for commuters, such as pushing and shoving, difficulty finding space, or getting caught in closing doors. Many countries and transportation authorities strive to address these issues by implementing measures like increasing train frequency, improving infrastructure, implementing crowd control measures, and encouraging alternative transportation options.

Gosh, there are so much persons hanging at shell of the train. In 80s of 20century,there are similar circumstances in China. But today,China train transportation is very developed, such ciucumstance no longer appeared.Overflowed population is not good.I knew some Europe countrys had small population with plenty of resources, pepole are living a happy life.
