An off duty Pasco County Sheriff's Office was fishing in the waters off of Hudson Florida ten days ago when he saw a baby dolphin struggling to stay afloat in the water. The fisherman who was not named contacted the Pasco County Sheriff's Office to ask for help to rescue the baby dolphin who was by himself for unknown reasons. The deputies of the Pasco County Sheriff's Office took the baby dolphin by boat to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Sea World Rescue mentioned that the baby dolphin was in critical condition. The good news is that the baby dolphin is improving and swimming on his own thanks to the actions of the off duty deputy who showed compassion for a helpless animal that needed his help. I guess Sea World is getting praise for once. Usually, they are getting criticism. I am very happy that people came to it's rescue as it most assuredly deserves to live.

Sea World could use some good publicity for a change this time around.

The first dolphin that I remember was Flipper when his show was on television.

Hopefully the dolphin will be able to be released when he's older.

I am in agreement with you that the dolphin is getting better at the aquarium.

I am in agreement with you. A saved dolphin story is better than a sad one.

I really enjoy watching the dolphins in Florida, but my favorite is the manatees. They are so cool, and when they have babies they stick right by their babies.
