Don't Mess with Karma: Rhia Learns a Hard Lesson

I recently had an unpleasant experience with a woman by the name of Rhia. She had promised to pay me and another woman, Jen, a total of $107 for services rendered, but had failed to do so for over a yea. I mean, we would understand if it is a month or so, but a year is not acceptable anymore and she even blocked us in Facebook. We gave her ample time to make the payment, but when it failed to come through, we confronted her in a group chat. Rather than face up to her responsibilities, she insisted that she would not be paying us, even worse, she said that she shouldn't have to pay us at all.
We clashed with Rhia over the unpaid debts she owed to both me and Jen. I discussed to her the consequences of not paying her debt, explaining that karma will eventually catch up with those who don't pay their debts in a timely manner. I also reiterate the importance of being honest when it comes to financial transactions and how Rhia should have paid back her debt as soon as it was due.
Let me start by saying that Rhia's decision to not pay her debt was irresponsible and unacceptable. Not only did she not pay me or Jen, but she also failed to take responsibility for her actions. This lack of responsibility would have consequences, as karma is a powerful force and it would eventually catch up with her.
At this point I was livid, but I kept my composure and calmly informed Rhia that she would not be blessed with more sales if she did not pay the debt she owed us. In response, she showed a complete lack of respect by displaying an attitude towards me. Regardless of her reasons, no matter how valid, I firmly believe that she should be paying the money she owes.
The entire ordeal left me feeling incredibly frustrated, and it goes to show that sometimes people will refuse to pay what they owe, even when it's clear that they have an obligation to do so. This is completely unacceptable, and I hope that Rhia has learned her lesson. As for myself and Jen, we were able to move on from this unfortunate experience, although I'm sure it will never truly be forgotten.
Please understand that me and Jen were both angry at Rhia's refusal to pay, especially after such a long delay. Despite our frustration and anger, it is important that we handle the situation with poise and composure. Though Rhia's behavior was unacceptable, I think responding in kind would not accomplish anything. And so I lashed out and that made her left the group chat because of embarassment. Hope that teaches her a valuable lesson not to mess with us.

I agree. This is what Jen also said as well. Rhia is an agent in a car dealership

I agree. What goes around, comes around. This is actually a nice way to put it. Thanks for sharing your insights.

Exactly, this is a responsibility, not a luxury. She thought that she would get away with this.
