I was on air during my normal programming when I had internet issues.
Recently, I was having a normal programming session on the air when the unexpected happened. I was about to play the songs that were requested by my listeners when suddenly there was an internet issue and they could no longer hear the music. After being notified by the listeners, I noticed that everything had gone silent due to my intermittent internet connection. It was connected but I was unable to access the live streaming site Streamyard and no matter how many times I tried a different connection as a back up, nothing worked.
In the end, I had no choice but to end my live programming and apologize to both my boss and my listeners for the unexpected issue. Though it was surely a difficult situation to be in, I'm grateful that my listeners were understanding and gracious. This experience has taught me to take extra precaution if there's a technical issue, as we never know what could happen. It's important to have a backup plan so that unexpected issues don't cause us too much trouble. With a bit of luck and preparation, we can usually overcome any obstacle.
How have you dealt with unexpected technical issues in the past?

Yes, you can search me on FB as DJ Resy King. I normally have listeners all over the country but it is like a handful, not that much but still I appreciate their support in my program. It is like a side hustle as well along with my main job.

I hope this does not keep happening for you. Nice listeners.
I am going to find Streamyard. Maybe I can find you and listen too
