Great awakening at "bodh gaya"

The extra ordinary place bodh gaya is the site of enlightenment or great awakening of siddhartha gautama ( the buddha). Under the tree named bodhi tree he sat and did meditation. Bodh gaya is located in bihar. A wonderful state of India. It's an pilgrimage site for both Buddhists and Hindus

I've heard that they provide free food to a large number of people at Bodh Gaya, is that true?

Whenever a person becomes a Buddhists monk he has to leave the materialistic pleasure of the world and for his food he goes to monasteries which offer free foods. Not only for a particular religion but for all religions
