Storms are rolling in

Yes, we've gotten some rain on and off over the last two days with more expected over the next two.

I’m always afraid to try to open my window because I’m not sure I’ll be able to get it completely closed again. Today though isn’t a good day for that anyway with the heat and humidity. By the way Heather, if you’re ever near me again, and I know it isn’t likely you will be, feel free to drop by church some Sunday. We’d love to see you.

It was rumored that we would have rain yesterday, and at one point it looked as if it would start "any minute now" but didn't. In fact, the sun came out about 2pm and was sunny for the rest of the day, but not overly warm. It's 7°C/45°F at 9:34 am and only expected to reach a high of 15°C/59°F. Tomorrow will be warmer, and that warming trend should continue through to Monday with an expected high of 25°/75°. Hope your daughter has a safe drive.

Thank goodness for the rain..I hope your daughter will be safe driving and will be there soon. Yes here also Heather..it has rained and cooled the air and washed some of that smoke from the fires away.

No rain forecasted for us. But today it was 82 degrees, and tonight it is supposed to be down in the 40's--a cold wave, the weather guy said. Tomorrow is predicted to be only 72, so won't need air or heat either one--yay!

It's the peak of summer here. We had guests of winds and some cloud cover yesterday evening, but no rains. It's super hot!!

It's 77F here but I've been hearing thunder since I woke up at 5 pm... I hurried out and mowed the rest of the yard before it rained and I wouldn't be able to mow at all for a few days. We turned the air on when I came in from mowing. We've tried opening the windows but there's no airflow through this house. We really miss the attic fan at the other house. (I'd wear a mask in the house if it meant I didn't need to run the air conditioner.)

We've having another fine spell which is nice but we'll need some rain soon. At least the farmers will. It doesn't really affect us much now.

We are getting a lot of rain because of the typhoon in our country.

We will need to close our windows soon, the breeze is quite cool. Tonight it will get very cool. We usually sleep with our windows closed anyways, it is just too noisy to have them open in the city. I am a very light sleeper. I hope that your daughter arrives soon.
