Can you tell this is a turn signal?

Of course you can't. I can't either. It's one my two brilliant sculptures from my friend's and my hike a couple of weekends ago. I made it on a breakwater. It's probably been swept off to sea by now. I made it where the path leads either left or right. If you go straight, you're in the chilly waters of the San Francisco Bay. It's a turn signal because I found two triangle shaped rocks to let passers-by know that it would be in their best interest to go left or right. One points left and the other points right. I wonder if anyone embellished this sculpture before it was swept away.

I cannot tell that this is a turn signal. What would suggest that it is?

@TheHorse I agree, I can spot nothing that looks triangular.

@LadyDuck I had fun building my little stacky tower, though.

Absolutely nothing. Even the triangular turn signals don't look very triangular in the photo.

On the top of the sculpture,I can see a triangle shaped rock with exclamation mark-like rocks on it .It points right.

Yep, I did some searching to find some small rocks that look a bti like triangles. One is more triangular than the other.

OK, so they're just adult stacky blocks.

Maybe they just stared at it, and pondered hidden meanings.

When I look at art, and find a deep hidden meaning, I often wonder if the artist intended it, or if I just have an overly active imagination

@Butterfingers I'd be happy if the young children I work with turn out to be the ones who are creative with rocks, or driftwood, or whatever is around them.

Heh. I did too. To me, stones are large stacky blocks.

It is a pile of rocks. By now it's probably just...rocks.

If you didn't tell me, I would not have known that it was a turn signal. I have seen many stone piles made by people, so I thought it was one of them.

Well, that's what it really is. just another pretty stable stone pile. I did spend a few minutes trying to find triangle shaped rocks for the top. But I was only partially successful.

They don't look like turn signals; but I applaud the effort. Have a good day.
