For me, it's cassava leaves curry. My dad loves it so much, and my mom can cook it very well. Chicken soup also reminds me of home. Whenever I'm home, my mom always cooks it for me. She knows I love it very much. Today, I ate cassava leaves curry for lunch. It automatically reminded me of my mom and my dad. I was mentally at home.

Cassava leaf curry is my favorite food. When I was little I didn't like it, when I was little I only liked tofu, tempeh and salted fish. LOL But now I don't really like tofu and tempeh, I prefer cassava leaf curry.

There is a dish called Dorito Chicken that reminds me of home. It was the favorite dish of my dad that my mom made, so she made it fairly often.

@happylearner It really is. My sister sometimes makes the casserole with hamburger meat, making it technically Dorito Beef, but I like the chicken version best.

When I have fried chicken I think of home. My Father had Sunday off and my Mom worked on Sundays so my Dad always fixed the best fried chicken for dinner every Sunday.
