John and Yanna Glass who are residents of Chino Hills California were engaged to be married 14 months ago when John's stepson who was five years old at that time accidentally dropped Yana's engagement ring down the toilet. The stepson then flushed the toilet with the engagement ring inside which ended up inside a pipe. After the plumbers found the ring, they told the couple that they could not retrieve the ring from the pipe without wrecking the home. The couple then bought a new ring and were married two months later after the incident. Chino Hills Public Works employees were doing sewer maintenance work 14 months later when they found the engagement ring close to the home where the Glass family lives. The public works employees cleaned up the ring before returning to the couple who are grateful that a lost ring is back in their possession. Link is upi.com/2251684856698 via @upi

That's great! I'll never understand though why five year olds think it's fun to flush random things down the toilet.

The child was just curious what would happen if a ring would be sent down the drain. I do not think he meant to cause any harm.

@Deepizzaguy Kids are curious about what happens when they put anything down the drain. They never mean harm.

@AmbiePam I know what the child was going through since I was a child once and curiosity was in me at that age,

Jewelry in the pipes is no fun. So lucky it was found and nice of them to clean it up. She's a lucky lady.
