This story breaks my heart since I am wondering why would anyone leave five puppies next to a dumpster in Charleston South Carolina a few days ago.
Members of the Charleston Animal Society answered the call for help from a concerned citizen who saw the five puppies who were near death due to hunger and starvation.
The five puppies were taken by the animal society employees to an animal shelter where they given food to eat and drinks to quench their thist.
The puppies after they are taken care by the veterinarians will be placed up for adoption and prayerfully be adopted by a loving family soon.

They should leave the owners next to a dumpster. How cruel. I'm glad that the puppies were rescued and will be put up for adoption.

I agree with you since only when a person knows that their actions have severe consequences, they will think twice before leaving an animal next to a dumpster again.

If those are the puppies in the picture; I would not mind having one. The only problem with me taking one is that I live too far from where are.
