Super Typhoon Betty, Mawar as her International name has prompted some provinces to do some precautions due to her maximum sustained winds of 215 kilometers per hour.
It's expected to hit our country by Sunday.
Pagasa said Mawar is already bringing 195 kph maximum sustained winds and gustiness of up to 240 kph as it heads west-northwest at 15 kph.
Due to this inclement weather some provinces have announced suspension of classes today both private and public schools.
God spare our country.

That sounds like a pretty intense typhoon. It's good decision to keep the institutions close for safety. Hope everyone stays safe and sound and it passes away without causing much devastations. Take care.

Thank you. Our government is already ready and prepared for any eventualities. We have already suffered much from ST Odette.

Everyone is hoping for that. Our experience from ST Odette is too much and we don't want to repeat that horrible experience.

@Nakitakona Indeed, I believe Manila was saved. As we were preparing for it, we rolled down the billboards' tarps to prevent them from being torn apart and cleared the waterways to prevent them from becoming choked. However, the entire weekend was merely gloomy, hot, and muggy. I am aware that the typhoon might make landfall in the far north of Luzon. All I want is for it to stop.
