Would you want to know?

I saw this menu of sisig (a filipino staple food) online. I've always known that it is made from pig's parts such as its ears and face. But I never knew who invented it and what happened to her. And I don't think I would want to know while sitting on a restaurant reading the menu. I think it would make me lose my appetite real quick. It was so random to throw in a 'fun fact' like that on the menu. Oh and another fact, it was her husband who did it.
Anyway, if you guys haven't tried sisig, you totally should! It's definitely one of the best filipino dishes.

Don't think I could eat it, but yeah, that's a strange way to put it on the menu.

I have to be honest that eating parts of a pig’s ears and face probably wouldn’t sit well with my stomach. If I didn’t know what part of the pig it was, maybe it wouldn’t bother me. Unfortunately, just knowing what is might keep me from trying it. Although, if someone offered it to me, I’d hate to decline it and be rude.
How sad about the woman’s fate though.
