Taking out the trash / myLot

This weekend my view has been full. The field across the way has been filled with campers and tents. Trailers and motorcycles have been everywhere.I saw lots of large and small dogs, but no cats. The community has made it possible for them to be good neighbors. There was a tap for fresh water, porta potties and a dumpster. Our community guests were here for a motorcycle race event that took place yesterday. They are leaving today, heading home. I suppose some of them will have to work tomorrow. Now it is time to put our field back to basics. Before 8:00 this morning the city garbage truck arrived to tip the dumpsters. There is still a small smattering of campers lingering on. I am sure the city wil ltake out the trash one more time before picking up the dumpster and taking it back to the city yard.

It's always nice when campers actually clean up after themselves. In so many places here they don't.

I've mostly found that, if you give them the chance, most people like to do the right thing. So, if it's relatively easy for them to get rid of the rubbish then they'll do so. Did the event make a lot of noise?
