Potato pakodas

When it pours outside nothing like having a plate of pakodas with tomato ketch up and a hot cup of tea. Pakodas can be made with several vegetables but my faovurite is potato pakoda. You just slice them and dip them in a gram flour batter to which chili powder and salt is added and then deep fry them. Eating them hot makes them taste better. Today I will be making sweet potato pakoda following the same recipe. They taste good too. Have you tried making pakoda? Which is your favourite? Image credit:

@allknowing A myLotter from one of the tropical islands was writing about making them with mashed potatoes so I tried it. They were good but were a lot of work. (The lady took time off myLot when she had her baby and hasn't come back yet. I enjoyed talking with her.)

Looks very good. I love fried potatoes. I don't cook them as often as I used to. But they are tasty.

@allknowing And I love every way they are cooked. I had a sweet potato for dinner with butter, cinnamon and sugar. I keep a shaker of cinnamon and sugar for potatoes and toast.
