I started the day with a strawberry

Picked fresh from my own patch. There was just one ripe enough for picking but there'll be more. 
I also put in a mini load of laundry (all the sweaty clothes from working on my garden). I won't be sweating today as it's only supposed to get up to 21°C/70°F, currently 14°C/57°F -- nowhere near body temperature -- and I think I'll take it easy today. At least it's sunny and not as windy as yesterday.
Maybe I'll color my hair.

I had a quiet day and read all 398 pages of Lord of Hawkfell Island by Catharine Coulter. The title sounds like a Harlequin Romance but it's about Vikings and revenge and deceit. Oh, the Lord and his hostage do fall in love and marry but that's not the main focus. It certainly kept me entertained and away from my chores.

That is the best part owning a garden. I would do that too. I have had many firsts in my garden. Hope you enjoyed your strawberry

Nice! Freshly picked fruit sounds delicious, and it's exciting to hear that there will be more to come. Doing laundry after a sweaty gardening session is definitely relatable. Enjoy your easygoing day with the pleasant weather, and have fun experimenting with your hair color. It's all about those little moments of self-care and enjoying the simple pleasures in life!
