Surprise Yellow Bloom On Hibiscus

Purchased this crimson Hibiscus plant from a local nursery last week. There were two red blooms when I bought it. And many more huge saucer sized red blooms have bloomed since then.
Today, I noticed this yellow bloom. Surprise! I have never had two colors on a Hibiscus plant. I have read where you can actually graft from other plants, to create the different colors. And I know there is a variety called Confederate Rose (Hibiscus mutabilis), but it has red and white blooms.
I am enjoying the bright sunshine yellow bloom. It is certainly a mystery where it came from. I will watch to see if others bloom yellow.
Nature is indeed magical and I learn something new every year. Wanted to share the beauty with you all.
Enjoying this time of the year. I wish the same to all of you.

I had to look twice at that! I've never seen Hibiscus have two different colors of flowers. Special, indeed!
It's so terribly hot here it's hard to even be outside right now.

@MarieCoyle It made my day for sure. The hummingbirds just found it as well. It is sitting beside the feeder on the deck. I watch all day long from the windows. Great therapy too.

@CarolDM My dad's wife was showing me her lilies today, so I told her about this lady I knew who was always posting pictures of her flowers, and other nature creations. So I showed her this picture of your hibiscus. She said she never could do a good job of keeping her hibiscus alive for some reason. But she was very impressed by all of your photos!

@AmbiePam Oh how kind of you to share. And I am sorry she couldn't keep hers alive. Mine are always such easy and low maintenance. Sunshine and water. They are tropical so that means they love full sunshine. Tell her thank you and make give them another try.

This Yellow Bloom is looking so nice !
May be a bird carried the seeds of the yellow flower and deposited in the soil of this Hibiscus plant.
A really nice share !!

I love hibiscus flower and I always appreciate my neighbors' blooms. I don't have them in my garden. There are too many varieties of beautiful hibiscus in my country. Yours are lovely too.

I have two red varieties in my garden and had a yellow one too. The yellow one did not survive for long.

@CarolDM No, not hibiscus. I had a rose but that didn't live for long.

@CarolDM I remember as a kid our neighbor had a front yard full of hibiscus plants, and it seemed like they were always blooming.
