Even though I am a dog person I dont hate cats. But I find that my house is infested with varying ages of not less than 10 street cats. The make our lot their personal toilet . They vomit do their potty all around. Cleaning it is a full time job. Try as we might am not able dissuade them from doing. Any advice to get rid of them.

@DaddyEvil is right. Cats hates the smell of vinegar. Spray the area with vinegar and repeat every few days. Vinegar is cheap.

Do you have vinegar at your house? Cats hate the smell of vinegar. Even though the smell disappears for a human in a few minutes, the smell lingers for cats. Spray the vinegar around your house and yard... the cats will avoid the area until it rains... Rain or water will wash the odor away... You'll have to spray again after the area dries again to keep the cats away.

I see someone has recommended vinegar. I really hope that works for you. The only other thing I can think of is calling animal control, and if a shelter won’t take them they might end up being put down. So, that might not be a good idea either.

We know someone who takes in ferral cats. They keep having litters of kittens so they are everywhere. I think they usually give away most of the kittens when they are old enough to good homes but some still stay and then down the road they're having kittens of their own!

If you have dogs then cats should stay away from your house
