I was more blind than a blind. I thought a man was my friend. In my opinion, true friendship doesn't exist. That friend only wanted me to be his referral. He wanted to earn more and more money. He gained my trust. After a while he stopped caring about my feelings. He asked for my password. He wants my money. Now I don't trust people. I knew him for many years. I wonder how I could be so blind so much time. Do you have real friends? Does friendship exist?

So sorry about that. I have three close friends. We've known each other for over 30 years.

Yes, I have a couple of really good friends, and I know they'd be there for me no matter what. I remember one time I went to pick up my medication, and it was $70, which I couldn't afford. My friend Naomi, without hesitating, paid for it herself, knowing I would never be able to pay her back. In turn, once Naomi totaled her car, and I started giving her rides wherever she needed to go. But neither of us has ever asked each other for anything, we kind of naturally see a need and try to help each other. And there is nothing wrong with asking for a favor, UNLESS it makes someone uncomfortable like your ex friend made you uncomfortable when he asked for your password. If you said no, and a person got upset about that, automatically it tells you, that is not your friend.
With your good heart, it is natural that you tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. And believe me, we have all been betrayed by a friend at some point in our lives. But there is at least one person out there who will be a good friend to you. And one good friend is worth ten people who tell you what you want to hear.

Friendship exists but is tricky. I have some friends. Real friends are as rare as diamonds. Diamonds are rare but they exist and so do real friends. We must keep in mind that there are no perfect friends and that even real friends can hurt us, so we need to always be cautious.
