Thursday Morning Brief

Thought I would get this done while it's still morning.
Today is more laid back than the last few days. The weather is cooler, which makes it nice inside and out.
I've played my games, and I'm working on the notifications. I should have them done soon.
Being Thursday, I will be going down soon for Canasta. There will also be a small party for the person moving out who lost her husband a month ago. She's moving to an assisted living facility.
I also plan to work on Guns of War this afternoon. I know I should work on Destination Love. I will. I just don't know when I will. Guns of War has my entire attention, so I hope I can finish it this year.

It was a fun time. She also played a game with her family who came too. She gave me the Canasta shuffler since she doesn't need it anymore and knows how much I like it. She taught me how to play the game. She'll be missed. I'm sure it will be a tough move.

That lady must be very distraught, losing her husband only one month ago! Have enjoyment, playing Canasta. I need some prayer for this living situation, thanks!

@just4him I just heard good news. We are suppose to get rain, throughout the weekend! Yahoo, it's about time we got a good shower:)

We spent the day seeing two specialists... Pretty was taught how to give me the monthly allergy shots so we won't have to make that drive every month... She did her first shot without hurting me. 
(The nurse showed her while giving me the first shot in my left arm and then Pretty, with the nurse supervising, gave me the second shot in my right arm.) The pharmacy will send the two shots to us instead of the doctor's office from now on.
And the eye specialist increased the dose of the eye drops I need every day. We have a follow-up appointment with him in six months to see if the new dose is helping.

@just4him She did for a little bit. There is an old trash can in the dog run. That seems to be her new toy. She was dragging it around

It’s been a quiet day for me here at work, which is a nice break from the rather rough day I had yesterday. Glad you had a relaxing day as well, and hope you have fun at Canasta.

@moffittjc It's lots of fun and easy to learn. Just don't look at the rules before you sit down to play. They are very confusing.
