Some concerts coming up, later this year / myLot

Hey everyone! It has been quite some time since I have been around myLot. I hope you all have been doing well

I am going to go see one of my favourite bands of all time, Modest Mouse, near Buffalo, New York at the end of August. I am going with my mom, and we even have VIP seats, which comes with some other perks as well! I think this will be either my 8th or 9th time seeing Modest Mouse, so that's pretty cool too. We are kind of making a bit of a trip out of it, going to do some other things in the Buffalo area too, some shopping, etc. I am also excited to go see a few bands in the beginning of November, in Toronto. Sparta and Moneen. I will be seeing them with my brother and possibly a mutual friend of ours as well. Do any of you have some concerts later this year, or do you/did you like to go to shows in general?

Good to see you. I hope the air quality is ok in your area. No concerts here in awhile. But I have enjoyed man yin the past. Don Henley, Fleetwood Mac, and many more over the years. Enjoy yours in a few months.

It actually hasn't been that bad for some reason, but then again, I haven't been going outside too to much. I think it is/was actually worse in places like New York City. Very cool, sounds like you have a good taste in music

Wow, DJ, welcome back!! I haven’t been to a concert in almost five years. My back hurts too much to stand, and my hearing has reached the point where music sounds “weird” (like they’re playing in G and singing in Db

). Have a great time at the concerts, and come see us more often here on myLot!

Well, I know who Modest Mouse is at least, so I don't feel too out of touch. I haven't been to a concert though in forever. I don't know that I have the energy to get into a crowd anymore.

Haha, that's good! Modest Mouse definitely had a few radio hits too, but I am more about their obscure/earlier stuff more than anything

Ahh, totally fair. I am 32 and sometimes I think I am starting to get too old for long nights at shows, haha

That's great that you've got some concerts lined up. We don't often go to such shows but we might have been tempted when we were younger.

Fair enough! Sometimes it can also be an ordeal to drive a ways just to see a show. I guess it depends on who it is, etc.

Did you make it to any of your concerts yet? I've been to 5 so far this year, and still have another one coming up in October.
