"While in Bay City, Jay Bought Me a Necklace"

This was a very special thing that happened. While we were in Bay City, Michigan Jay bought me a necklace and said, "Happy Mother's Day!"
I was surprised, even though it made me feel special. The reason for this gift, my husband said that he didn't give me a card or a present for Mother's Day. Did I make a big deal out of this?
Of course not, I didn't expect to be treated like a royal queen of hearts! We went out to dinner two days before and I considered that to be a display of thoughtfulness.
Anyway, here's a photo that I took this morning, of my new necklace. It has a unicorns on both sides of the heart. It has two chains, I really like it:)

@CarolDM They take Aubrey to Kentucky each summer, it's a equestrian event of some sort. I haven't heard much about it this year, she might not be involved any more.

I think people like to be surprised with surprise gifts than expected gifts. Our family very rarely celebrates their own birthday and if they do its just an excuse because just want to party.

@kobesbuddy Yeah, I do not come on often. Have to hustle in this world, but always try to take some time here and there. Birthdays and stuff is important to kids but when you grow up, you like eh. I do not even tell people its my birthday. I turned off the facebook birthday thing. I really can't stand people telling me happy birthday. Then here is gift, now you owe me. What happened to me miss lady?

@crossbones27 I was away from My Lot for two months or more. The reason, we moved and no longer had Internet service. I really missed some of the people here!

I've missed you, crossbones! You haven't been on My Lot often, or I just didn't run across your writings:) Yes, buying a small gift is very thoughtful. We always got a Birthday gift, a special day for each one of us.
