It is another cold day here, friends. News are as bad as the climate, I don´t want to watch how the amount of violence in the city where I live.
About half of the people who steal cars and burglarize houses are minors. In fact, the 3 people that stole everything in my house when I was there were very young.
There are no adequate laws for minors in my country. Older bad guys teach chidren since they are maybe 7 or 8. If they get caught and there´s no family to vouch for them, they can be sent to places that are worse than jails for them.
There is also an epidemic of a kind of flu (syncytial virus) that has hospitals full of children.
Do you have good news where you live? It seems I don´t.
See you online

@LadyDuck During the Vietnam War, people would strap a bomb to a baby. Then, they'd let it wander into a camp where American soldiers were living Using a child to get revenge, during a war!

@kobesbuddy Wars are horrible, so many kids in Vietnam were killed by the terrible Napalm and many have been disfigured for life. More than 2 millions civilians were killed in Vietnam.

@kobesbuddy Kids will always be victims. But we should learn to protect them in better ways.

Sometimes I think that we could protect our kids more if we were not so worried about their rights and more about teaching them what is right.

Oh, dear. Well, I have a story of good overcoming evil, which is sort of good news? A police officer stopped a car with a man and woman in it. She felt something was very off so she put the man in her police car so she could talk to the woman alone. It turned out he had kidnapped her not long before, and she intervened in time to save her from anything worse happening. While it is sad to have occurred, thank goodness she was saved.

I am sorry it is so cold there Marguicha.
It is cool here a little bit of cool but not cold.
I hope you are warm enough.

A viral flu hitting children, that's terrible news! And training children to commit crimes, this is awful

Crime is rampant everywhere. There is news of shootings and stabbings every day. I hope you have a good week in spite of the news.

I do not. The city I live so close to, had two huge incidences last night, multiple shots fired, people in the ER, and people going crazy. One was a bar fight that escalated fast (that bar is notorious for having issues) and one was a ton of people partying in a local park there , it, to, escalated in the night with too many people, shots fired. Everyone that could reach their cars, jumped in them to take off--and in the rush and the packed together cars, many wrecked into each other. A huge, huge mess.
''All we are saying, is give peace a chance''---yes, it's old, but it surely is true.

Ah, the weather may be cold, but fear not! Your spirit shines brighter than the frosty air.
