The tip of the volcano finally erupted

Yes, it’s just the tip, but I was able to release steam, so a full-blown volcanic eruption did not occur. I yelled and stormed out of the house and went to eat at my favorite place at the mall. They were texting me saying they were sorry. I didn’t feel like replying, so I ignored the messages for a while. Afterward, I took a walk and visited the Blessed Sacrament at the church and stayed there until I have calmed down. Inside the place was a box where people can pick a verse from the Bible and this is what I picked: “Take my yoke on your shoulders and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart.” Isn’t the verse fitting for me at that moment? I think I was overly sensitive. This was considered trivial as compared to the tribulations that other people are going through. Hence, I texted back all that I wanted to say. If a person apologizes, I forgive easily, so now, I’m back home and everything is good again because I have said all that I wanted to say. What about you? How was your day? @Jenaisle I wasn't sure why you left, but it must have been serious for you to be so upset.

It wasn't that was why I left the house. I don't know what I may have done if I didn't leave the house.

I am glad that you were able to calm down and did not burst into anger when you face your issues. I guess the praying help you a lot to think about your next actions.

@Jenaisle Yeah different coping mechanisms we do have. You go out of the situation first to breathe in and out your frustration then faces the problem again when you regain your thoughts/insights. That is a nice strategy when facing such a situation. You do not burst out of the blue and then regret something you did when you were at the height of your emotions.

Yeah, it did. Perhaps, if I didn't leave it may have turned worst.

I'm glad you took yourself out of the situation and found a place to calm down and reflect. I know you're happier for having done so. My day is going well. Any day I wake up in the camper is a good day.

@Jenaisle We spent most of yesterday traveling with the camper to get here to the mountains of SW Virginia. It took us almost 5 hours. We will stay here all week and go home next Sunday.

It is around 16 miles. but the area has no mountains, except the volcano so, the effect was devastating.

I would think having a volcano erupt nearby even if it was just the tip.

It's like letting off steam, so the container won't explode.
