JBL L-100 single: Another surface almost done.

I did a bit more work last night on the vintage loudspeaker I've been restoring. As you can see, I left myself a small patch to finish up. Kind of like leaving a final bite on the plate for when I'm really hungry. Have you ever done that?
After this, I'll have one surface still to finish up. Then I'll hook this thing up again as a subwoofer, and probably sell it on Craigslist.
Today is my longest day at Guitar Center. I'll be heading out soon.

I am happy that my computer is working good today after my nephew fixed the cause of the machine not starting due to the start button when pressed firmly to kickstart the machine was successful in starting the machine under a hot day today.

It was cool here most of the day with all the thunderstorms we're having. But it did finally reach 74F late this afternoon. And is now thundering again.... After a week of rain, I'm ready for some sun for a few days.

@TheHorse I read a report online a couple of days ago that said due to the El Nino my part of the US would be in a severe drought later this Summer.

@kaylachan Reattaching the midrange and tweeter wires would not be that hard. But I just want to to "my job" and be done with this one.

Got some weeding done before it started raining again. Didn't rain a whole lot or for long, but probably will start up again tonight. We're supposed to get thunder-dunders but nothing so far.

@TheHorse Did you hear them, because I didn't... either the weather people lied or I slept right through them. It does look as if it rained overnight, though.

That looks quite good. Did as much as I could today and our heat and humidity continue and I have two cats running around with their tongues hanging out of their mouths. My friend Nick has promised to get a much better AC for me soon. This late afternoon it is hanging at 88 and 82% humidity but no needed rain falling down,

It was fun. And interesting. I have a new student who used to be a back up singer for a musician named Van Morrison. She in her 70s and hasn't played guitar in decades. But she still has her "pipes." I'm am hoping to help her get some tasty guitar licks going to back up her vocals.
