Recently, there was an earthquake in our area. I was working from home today at around 10 o'clock when I got a little lightheaded and saw that everything was trembling. My aquarium indicated the earthquake was real when I first saw that the water was trembling. Its epicenter is a little bit away from us and it was not that strong. Its epicenter began in the waters and had a 6.2 magnitude, according to reports. Thank goodness no tsunamis were produced after that. Have you felt it, my fellow citizens?

I'm glad you and your family weren't hurt in the earthquake.

@rsa101 I know some other myLotters also felt the tremor but haven't heard from every Filipino family on myLot yet.
I hope they're all okay, too.

@DaddyEvil Those living near my place would surely felt it. Many of the schools and office establishment did have their evacuation drills in practice. My wife's school did just that and she said it was very tiring to be on alert since she teaches in a grade school so hard to manage students that young to stay put.

No significant harm was done far from the epicenter. It is stated that the earthquake originated in the sea and traveled inland until it reached us; nevertheless, given that we were roughly 100 kilometers from the epicenter, I believe ours was not as strong as the others.

I understand your concern. I, too, live in a country with many earthquakes, The grade was Richter or Mercalli?
