Watching the graduation live stream

This is interesting for me. The class of 2023 is the crop of students that I would have had during the first full year of COVID with hybrid instruction and me working virtually 8+ months. Some of the students I remember from our interactions or from seeing them in later years in the building. Some of the graduates have names that I remember but I wouldn't be able to pick them out of a lineup. Many of them I had this year as seniors in forensic science.
I've been surprised at how many names I remember but I know absolutely nothing about the students and don't know/remember what they look like. That was the year when they refused to show their faces and I got to see lots of ceiling fans and rope lights.

It was a different time for all of us.I am sure many of them weren't very confident behind a camera, or thought they could slack off if the teacher didn't see them.
